A college degree has become very important in our society in order to obtain a respectable job that earns well. However, not everyone has time on their hands to pursue a college education because of some limitations in their lives. Working people and those that have chores to do at home are particularly affected by this predicament. That is why online schools like Apostolic Bible Colleges are greatly increasing in number and popularity.

There are many advantages of enrolling in an online college like a Apostolic Bible College. This is mainly attractive to those who spend most of their time at home. Those who are currently employed also find this as a good way to continue their studies and earn a degree. The flexibility in time makes it possible to study even if you are working long hours. And just like in the traditional colleges, financial and government aids may also be applied for.

Some of the disadvantages of an online college though, are the rampant scams that are prevailing over the internet. So make sure to investigate the credentials of a given school before formally enrolling. Accreditation and authenticity are both very important. Another drawback of an online school is the lack of personal interaction with the teachers and fellow students as most communication will be done through email and chatting only. In the same way, no instantaneous feedback may be obtained when you want it as compared to a classroom set up where you can ask a question and get a direct answer on the spot. Students online must also have the restraint and discipline to carry out their student tasks. Some might get the habit of procrastinating given the leeway of time in an online study, and this is counter productive.

Apostolic Bible Colleges are one of the most popular choices for online students chiefly because of the method that education is carried out. Christian colleges are known to have competent professors that are God fearing and well versed on the teachings in the bible. This knowledge is passed on to students to help them not only to become competent professionals but good Christian leaders as well.

I am seeking employment as an on line facilitator. I have certified training as an on line instructor and I have a BS degree in Business Administration and a an MPA degree in Public Administation. If you have any openings in those areas of study for an on line instructor, will you please let me know how I can apply?

Thank you for any information you may be able to provide.

    Hi Mary,

Could you please visit the college website directly for employment info? In addition to the Apostolic Bible College, you might want to try the Rio Salado Community Colleges in Tempe Arizona. They have accredited online community college classes that start weekly, 50 weeks out of each year. Another option would be to teach for Ed2Go, which provides classes to further adult learners skills in a variety of topics. These are community education classes online, and although affiliated by various colleges, they are not part of the accredited curriculum. Good luck with your search to become an online educator!
