Great information! I wonder if our local community college has online classes. My daughter has been talking about taking some online classes (she’s homeschooled) so I’ll have to check it out. Thanks for the info!

I really think online education is the wave of the future. Why spend $30,000 a year and go into debt when you can get a jump start on your degree by taking online courses at your community college? Maybe they will have a reciprocal agreement with a four year college you might attend later.

Thanks Joanne, I’ll bet she can take some college classes online – and even transfer that credit to her high school. For kids that need challenges online community colleges are a great investment in their education!

Thanks Susan, you’re right about the savings! A word of advice – check to see which classes you take at the community college level can be transferred to the 4 year university. You don’t want to take a lot of classes that don’t transfer or your 4 year degree turns into a 5 year degree and eats up your savings!

This is great. I love online learning and I am always happy to see evidence of more and more acceptance by the public and new programs from the schools.

I am thinking about checking into a few online classes once I finish my degree. I will be 5 credit hours short of being able to sit for the CPA exam and think I will get those credits online. Thanks for the great info!
