  1. An interesting factoid included in the latest version of the famous YouTube video “Social Media Revolution” is that studies show online college students perform better than those who are taught face to face.

  2. I’m doing an online course in web technology as of now, but I am finding it a real challenge not only to find the time (four children), but to also stop myself from getting distracted when I do finally manage to slot in a bit of study.

  3. Lifelong learning is the way forward for many people or at least the people that want to be able to make their way in the world. I like iTunes U for this facility too.

  4. I completely agree. Just did a post on online classes not too long ago. It’s a great way for students to get some general courses out of the way while saving money, as well as for people who are working to supplement their knowledge with new information, so they can up their level of expertise!

  5. I knew about online classes a long time ago, but I’ve always doubted them because most employers don’t take them seriously. I have to digg more into this subject, that’s for sure

  6. Ionut, agreed. In the past I have been a little skeptical of online classes when recruiting employees. But I think it’s my age. But having been proved wrong with one particular employee, I’m changing my ways.
